  You will fail if..

You know your going to fail if…

So you're ready to start your new healthy diet, but just how ready are you?
Have a read through some of our experts favourite 'mindsets' or 'sayings', they're not as silly as they might sound, you'll find one or more of them behind most peoples thinking prior to starting a weightloss regime or healthy eating plan.

The reality is that so many people (sub-conciously) sabotage their weightloss goals before they've even started. So if any of these apply to you... you should really reconsider your approach or motivation.

The diet that you’ve decided to start, you can’t imagine eating for the rest of your life.

When you believe that you can eat watercress soup for the rest of your life.

You start every food choice obsessively counting the calories.

You weigh yourself more than once a week, only weigh yourself once a week, wearing similar clothes at a similar time of day.

You eat more processed foods than you eat fresh foods.

You don’t understand what your next meal or snack should be, always plan your meals until you’ve developed a healthy habit.

You starve yourself during the day to ensure that you reduce your food intake, it doesn’t work, and you’ll simply be hungry and miserable.

You believe that your weight is due to a genetic problem.

You want to lose weight to make someone else happy, you’ll only end up resentful.

You believe that if this doesn’t work, that the next step is some miracle diet pills, don’t believe the hype, you’ll be happier and healthier making things happen yourself.

You confuse ‘diet’ with an unsavoury way to reduce your food intake while you try to lose weight, when in fact it is and should be a lifestyle change.

You’d like to change, but don’t honestly believe its possible.

You want your diet to exclude any type of activity.

You think being ‘fat’ is a part of your personality

You say ‘when I’m thin I’ll..’ live each day fully, it’ll help you reach your weight goals much quicker.

You believe that a healthy balanced meal can exclude fresh fruit and vegetables.

You think that ‘cutting your carbs’ will help you lose weight more effectively, carbohydrates are a vital part of your diet.

You think that fast food is ok as a regular part of your diet.

You want to start your diet again tomorrow, tomorrow never comes!!
